Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs fresh mussels
  • 3/4 lb large shrimp
  • 3/4 lb squid
  • 3/4 lb dry-packed sea scallops
  • One tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 4 to 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 ounce can diced tomatoes
  • One teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Four tablespoons butter
  • One tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Method to Prepare:

  • First, rinse the mussels under cold water and trim any beards with the kitchen shears. 
  • Now, first, you will need to peel and devein the shrimps. Keep shrimp tails on. 
  • To prepare the squid, rinse it and remove the cartilage from the interior of the tubes. 
  • Now, separate the tentacles of the squid and slice them into 3/8 inch rings. 
  • Take a medium-sized skillet and heat olive oil over medium flame. 
  • Add onion and cook it until transparent, for around 2 minutes. 
  • Then add garlic and cook for about 2 minutes. 
  • Now, add tomatoes, salt, pepper, and give it a stir to combine them.
