  • 15oz of pumpkin puree
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 ¼ cups of packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch 
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • Egg wash: 1 large egg beaten with 1 tablespoon of milk

Method to prepare:

  • Let’s make the pie filling first.
  • Take a bowl and whisk pumpkins, 3 eggs, and brown sugar together until they are thoroughly combined.
