With the help of this easy recipe, you will be able to assemble tacos in just 15 minutes. 

How to Make Stuffed Tacos?

Ditch the usual dinner recipes and try this easy-peasy stuffed tacos recipe. For this recipe, you will need refried kidney beans, better known as rajma.

Here, beans are sauteed in spices, tomato puree, and then mashed. Then, these beans are assembled in the taco shells with yum-yum sweet onion sauce, tomato salsa, grated cheese, and mustard sauce.

Rajma Stuffing 

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 medium-sized chopped onions
  • 2 green chilies, chopped 
  • Small cup tomato purée
  • ½ tsp of Salt
  • Red chili powder, as per taste 
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp Cumin(jeera) powder
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning
  • 100gms boiled rajma


  • 1 Small onion, chopped
  • 1 Tiny tomato, chopped  
  • ½ bowl corn
  • Coriander leaves 
  • Salt, as per taste 
  • Red chili powder, as per taste 
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice

For Assembly: 

  • Taco shells 
  • Rajma filling
  • Sweet onion sauce 
  • Taco salad 
  • Grated Cheese
  • Mustard Sauce 

Method to Prepare 

  • Firstly, take a pan.
    • Add oil to it.
    • Add chopped onions and green chilies.
    • Saute until golden brown.
    • Add tomato puree.
    • Sprinkle salt, garam masala, and cumin powder.
    • Scatter taco seasoning and red chili powder.
    • Cook for five minutes.
  • Now, add rajma to the pan.
    • Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
    • Mash them to make a thick gravy.
  • Now, let’s prepare the tomato salsa.
    • Take a bowl and onion, tomato, corn, and coriander leaves.
    • Sprinkle salt and red chili powder.
    • Squeeze lemon over the salad and mix well.
  • Now, let’s assemble the tacos.
    • Spread salsa sauce inside the shells.
    • Add the rajma stuffing.
    • Then, add tomato salsa.
    • Sprinkle grated cheese.
    • Top it with mustard sauce and mayonnaise.
  • Tacos are ready. Serve and enjoy!
