Ingredients

  • Half a Litre of Cow Milk
  • 500gm Rajgira Flour (Amaranth Flour)
  • Three cups Cow Ghee
  • Two cups Sugar
  • One cup Grated Coconut
  • One cup Whole Almonds
  • One cup split Cashew pieces
  • One cup Dry Raisins
  • One cup sliced Dry Coconut
  • Half cup peeled Cardamom
  • One tsp Cardamom Powder

Method To Prepare

  • Begin by taking a wide non-stick pan and adding cow ghee into it to be heated over medium flame.
  • Put the Rajgira flour (Amaranth Flour) into the pan and mix it well with the ghee. Keep stirring continuously so that the flour doesn’t burn and start sticking to the pan.
  • Lower the flame before adding sugar and again mix it well on medium flame so until the sugar melts and melds with the mixture.
  • Proceed to add milk and coconut powder to be stirred until you see the ghee floating on the milk which should evaporate in a few minutes.
  • Once you notice the Rajgira mixture becoming semi-solid or less loose, again add milk along with cardamom powder and peeled cardamom pieces to be stirred for another couple of minutes.
  • Post properly stirring when the mixtures look mildly less light in color and the milk is evaporated, remove the heat to add almonds, cashew pieces, and dry raisin. Mix them well.
  • Add a few of the above mentioned dry fruits on top for aesthetic purposes before serving and serve it hot.
