  • One large egg
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • One clove garlic, minced
  • One teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • One large head regular or Savoy cabbage, including outer leaves

  • 1 (28-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup raisins or one tablespoon packed light brown sugar
  • Two tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • One tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Method to Prepare

  • Add these leaves into the boiling water and blanch them for about 5 minutes.
  • Drain them and transfer them to a paper towel-lined baking sheet.
  • Now, take a medium bowl and add all the sauce ingredients and give it a good stir to combine.
