Ingredients 

For Marination

  • 300g chicken, boneless, cubed 
  • One egg
  • Two tablespoons of flour
  • One tablespoon of cornflour 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • One tablespoon of chili sauce
  • One tablespoon of soy sauce 
  • oil, for frying

For Sauce 

  • One teaspoon garlic, chopped
  • One teaspoon ginger, crushed
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • Two tablespoons of chili sauce 
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornflour
  • One egg
  • One teaspoon crushed red chili
  • Two tablespoons oil
  • One teaspoon cornflour 
  • Spring onions, chopped, for garnishing

Method to Prepare 

  • Take a glass bowl and add chicken, egg, flour, cornflour, salt, chili sauce, and soya sauce. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes. 
  • After 30 minutes, fry the chicken in oil. Once done, take it out. 
  • We will make the sauce—heat oil in a pan and fry garlic. 
  • Then, add chili sauce, ketchup, crushed red chilis, and chicken stock. Cook until it starts boiling. 
  • Then, add cornflour to thicken the sauce and add eggs gradually. 
  • Mix it perfectly. 
  • Now, pour this sauce over the prepped chicken and garnish it with spring onions.
