Ingredients 

For Patties

  • 3 medium Potatoes, boiled & grated 
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1 tsp Garlic-Green chili paste
  • 3 White sliced bread, without edges
  • Oil for frying

For Ragda

  • 2 cups White Peas, cooked with salt & turmeric powder 
  • Water 

Other Ingredients For Ragda Patties

  • 4 tbsp Green chutney
  • 4 tbsp tamarind and jaggery chutney 
  • ¼ tsp Degi red chili powder
  • ½ cup Onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup Tomato, chopped
  • 1 fresh green chili, chopped 
  • ½ tsp Dry garlic chutney 
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Sev
  • ¼ tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp Chaat masala
  • ¼ cup Pomegranate pearls
  • Lemon wedges

Method to Prepare 

For Patties

  • Take a bowl and add grated potatoes, salt, garlic, green chili paste, and sliced white bread to it. 
  • Mix everything well and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat the oil on a non-stick pan.  
  • After 10 minutes, make round tikkis from the mixture.
  • Fry prepared tikkis on both sides until golden brown. 
  • Once done, remove and keep aside for further use. 

For Ragda

  • Now, let’s prepare ragda. 
  • Take a pan and pour water into it along with boiled white peas with turmeric powder and salt. 
  • Bring them to a boil. Avoid adding too much water as the ragda should not be too thin or thick. 
  • Your ragda is ready. 

For Assembling Ragda Patties

  • Take a serving plate and pour warm ragda, then add some green chutney, and tamarind chutney, and then place patties on it. 
  • Now, sprinkle degi red chili powder as per your taste. Add chopped tomatoes, onions, green chili, and some dry garlic chutney.
