Ingredients: 

For the Chicken:

  • 1 pound of chicken breasts, shredded
  • One teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt and pepper, as per taste

For the Mushroom Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons of butter, divided
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic, minced
  • 8-ounces of mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup of chicken broth 
  • ¼ cup of cream
  • 2 slices of Swiss cheese, in half

Method to Prepare:

  • First of all, sprinkle each side of the chicken breast with Italian seasoning, salt, and butter. 
  • Take a medium skillet and heat 1 tablespoon of butter and add chicken.
  • Sear for 3 to 4 minutes on each side and then remove from the skillet and set aside.
