Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil
  • Sliced onion 1
  • 8 ounces of sliced mushrooms
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped thyme
  • 2-3 tablespoons of white wine or broth (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper as per the taste
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
  • Half teaspoon of truffle oil (optional)
  • 1 cup of shredded gruyere cheese
  • Three-fourth cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 bread slices 
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Method to Prepare:

  • Take a pan and melt butter and olive/vegetable oil in it over medium-low heat. Then, add sliced onions and sauté them for about 5-6 minutes or until they turn translucent.
  • Once they are done, you have to add chopped garlic and thyme and sauté them for nearly 1 minute or until you get the aroma.
  • Now, add sliced mushrooms and sauté all ingredients until mushrooms turn golden brown, it may take around 10-12 minutes.
