  • Ten fluid ounces, your dad’s favorite beer, more if needed

Method to Prepare 

  • Firstly, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. 
  • Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet and place bacon strips on it. 
  • Slide the bacon strips into the oven and bake for 10 minutes. 
  • After 10 minutes, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the top of the bacon strips with half the brown sugar. 
  • Slide the baking dish back into the oven for another 10 minutes. Remove them from the oven and flip the bacon to another side. 
  • Sprinkle it with the remaining brown sugar and bake until the bacon is crisp and brown sugar is golden, for 10 to 15 minutes. 
  • Remove the bacon, let it cool, and crumble into small pieces. 
  • Now, lightly grease a skillet with vegetable oil and place it over medium-high flame. 
  • Take a large bowl and add flour, white sugar, and baking powder. Whisk it to combine. 
  • In another bowl, add beer, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk well to combine. 
  • Lightly stir the liquid ingredients into the flour mixture to form a smooth batter. Stir the candid bacon pieces into the batter. 
  • Pour the batter into the hot skillet, just ½ cup at a time, and cook for 2 minutes, until the edges are brown.

  • Add the bacon pieces to the pan and fry while occasionally stirring for 10 minutes. Fry them until crisp.  
  • The potatoes will be golden and crispy from the outside and tender inside. Add the spring onions and stir them through. Season everything with pepper.

  • Get your oven ready and preheat at 400° F take a non-stick skillet and add Swiss chard, onion, celery, carrot, and garlic and cook them for about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Don’t forget to add water occasionally as it will prevent vegetables from sticking to the bottom. Just add 1 or 2 tablespoons of water at a time.
  • Take a baking dish and combine cooked vegetables, beans, tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, and 3 tablespoons of vinegar and bake it covered for about 30 minutes.
  • Now for topping, take a small bowl and blend together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Take another small bowl and combine milk, and applesauce, and then add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
  • Now, add this milk mixture into the cornmeal mixture and stir until just combined, and spoon batter into four mounds on top of the bean mixture.
  • Bake this mixture for about 20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle.
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Now, sprinkle some green onions over it and let the aroma spread in the room, and enjoy it!

  • Add two cups of breadcrumbs to the same bowl as beans and add mustard, ketchup, oregano, basil, ginger, garlic, red chili flakes, and paprika into it.
  • Mix the mixture well and make a stiff mixture so you can use a scoop to shape it.
  • Heat your oil and start scooping your amazing meatball mixture roll the mixture in your hand and make them as much as you can and run them through breadcrumbs.

  • First of all, boil the potatoes until soft, then drain and return them to a pan and put over low heat for steam dry. 
  • Mash them with some seasoning and let them cool down at room temperature.
  • Take a bowl and mix all the fillings ingredients together and make 12 balls from the mashed potatoes.
  • Press your finger into one potato ball, making a hole and fill it with the mixture, and then seal it.
  • Repeat this process and let all the koftas roll into the flour and breadcrumbs and fry them for 20 seconds in a pan half-full of oil.
