Ingredients 

  • 450 gm all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon refined oil
  • 2 large onion
  • 1-inch ginger
  • water as required
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic paste
  • 300 gm boiled chicken
  • 5 green chili
  • salt as required
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • black pepper, as required
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper

Method to Prepare 

  • To begin the recipe, rinse all the veggies and chicken with lukewarm water to clean them thoroughly. 
  • Now, chop the veggies and keep them aside. 
  • Pour water into a pressure cooker and boil the chicken with a pinch of salt and pepper. 
  • If you like your boiled chicken aromatic, you can add a small teaspoon of ginger and chili garlic paste to the chicken. 
  • Once boiled, mince the chicken carefully and keep it aside in a bowl. 
  • Now, add refined oil, all-purpose flour, and salt to a deep mixing bowl. 
  • Mix it well with enough water and knead the mixture into a smooth dough. Ensure that you knead the dough well to prevent any lumps. 
  • Add chicken and chopped vegetables to another bowl and mix them well. 
  • Drizzle soy sauce into the chicken-veggie mixture and stir well to mix. Now, take the kneaded dough and make small balls out of it. 
  • Flatten the balls into a square shape using a rolling pin and add the chicken-veggie mixture at the center. 
  • Bring the edges close and seal them to make a momo. Repeat the same process with the remaining momo dough balls. 
  • Transfer these momos to a steamer and steam them for at least 20 minutes until they are tender. 
  • Serve them hot with red chili sauce and mayonnaise, and enjoy!
