  • 1 kg chicken drummettes 
  • oil, for frying 

For soaking 

  • 4 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 1 ¼ cup of water 
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

For marination 

  • 1 ¼ tablespoon of ginger garlic paste 
  • ½ red chili powder 
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala 
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoon cornstarch

For seasoning 

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped 
  • ¾ tablespoon ginger, minced
  • ¾ tablespoon of garlic, minced 
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon red chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt 
  • ½ cup water 

Method to Prepare 

  • Before you start prepping for the recipe, get a big bowl and add 4 tablespoons of yogurt, and whisk it. 
  • Now, pour 1 ¼ cup of water and sprinkle some salt. Add the chicken wingettes to the bowl and let them brine for an hour. It will tenderize the lollipops when you fry them.
  • Once the soaking is done, marinate your chicken. Take the chicken out of the buttermilk into a bowl.
